Welcome, and thank you for visiting DATECH.
DATECH was founded in February 2002 with the goal of researching and developing technology products that combine digital and analog technologies.
Since our founding, we have focused on researching and developing digital alcohol concentration meters, building extensive technical expertise and growing into a breathalyzer specialist recognized in the global market.
We were the first in Korea to commercialize a breathalyzer with a highly accurate and reliable fuel cell sensor, and, having been selected as a Global Small Giant by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and as a manufacturer of World-Class Products by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, we continue to grow as a global leader.
Our ALCOFIND breathalyzers are used in Korea by the Korean National Police Agency, public institutions, airlines and transportation companies, and are exported to more than 50 countries, led by the Americas and Europe, earning recognition for our technology at home and abroad.

ABOUT PRODUCT
Our Breathalyzers
In a fuel cell sensor, alcohol molecules are oxidized by a nanometer-scale platinum catalyst, and the electrical energy produced is converted into an alcohol concentration.
A specialized algorithm converts the electrical energy into alcohol concentration, and DATECH has continued to develop and refine this algorithm since its initial development.
The greatest strength of the fuel cell method is its excellent selectivity: it reacts only to alcohol. It does not react to other gases in exhaled breath and is unaffected by the many substances present in the surrounding environment.
Fuel cell breathalyzers, which use a platinum catalyst, cost more to manufacture than semiconductor-based products.
However, they deliver accuracy, reliability and long-term stability that semiconductor products cannot match. They can also be developed and manufactured for a wide range of environments and purposes, from personal and industrial to professional use.
Through continuous sensor algorithm development, DATECH has maximized the advantages of the fuel cell method, and it operates an optimized in-house production system so that anyone can use a high-quality, high-performance breathalyzer at a reasonable price.
